They have finally come up with somthing more powerful than the ordinary 32bit processors. Not only is this one multi-threading, and 64bit, but also multicore. 1u Cell proccessor baced workstation, to 16 teraflops/s?

Wonder what a desktop will get to?

I feel sorry for those who are legit, but, I HATE PIRACY.

why u may ask?

Because piracy steals from the game creators, from the authors, and for all the people that worked to create and distribute the game, to get it to u on a cd rom/DVD.

The illigal sharing of it on the P2P networks, is just wrong. It is as good as staeling from the coders who made the game, and stealing is wrong.

Oh well. My little rant over. still worried about ajax... better check it's forums again i suppose.

I remember rows like that, when I was not to long ago younger. My little brother would ignore the time limit set by our mum. Or, when we were told to use an egg timer to meter out computer time, add a little bit to it.

But isn't it odd that somthing (i.e. computers) that was once so rarely used, is now so often used, and can cause arguments. I remember the days when we were using an amstrad, using a DOS based menu that my dad built for us from scratch.

I'm only 17. Wow, dont technology move fast!

Firefox

Hey!

I've been trying out firefox recently... it's soooo cool!

I love the tabbed browsing (like opera, just without the ads) and the fact it's free!

and only 5mb... compared to ie. thats like a drop in the water.
And it don't crash. Even if it does, windows dosn't throw a wobbly becasue one of it's major components has gone!

I suppose i had better get some of my sociology work done. We were told to make notes in the lesson, but wernt given enough time!

So now I have 2 hours to get it finnished b4 it's due.

Oh well. Thats life i suppose.

Hey! its finnaly online!

I should really be working, on my IT coursework, but i cant really be bothered. I'll get round to it soon.
I'm worried about the pbem rpg ship USS Ajax (http://www.ussajax.tk) which i'm on. None of my posts seem to get through. And my laptop is not shutting down properly again. Looks like another reinstall.

I hate it when computers go wrong.

MY CF CARD!

I've gone and lost my CF card. With all my sixth form work on it. Luckly i took a backup, but I've lost 3 DAYS WORTH OF WORK!!!

Lots of course work to do. Hmmmm... !!!

I whent and bought a 128mb usb stick. Its got one of those neclace things on it. Hopefully i won't loose that. Cost me £15. Could have been cheaper, but I wanted it now. Oh well.
